Regardless of who wins the US election I hope that we will continue to work on finding common ground and ultimately learn to respect our differences.
While studying in Jerusalem after High-School, I witnessed first hand the regional conflict and wanted to see a resolution. I was disappointed in the political process (Not to say the democratic or political process is unimportant. Great strides have been made since then.) and was searching for an alternative. As a result I wrote this song.
I'm still not sure what the complete answer is, although my hope is that through the power of education, prayer, and acts of kindness, we will be inspired to take on a little bit more responsibility and hold ourselves accountable for our own incremental spiritual growth. Perhaps in this way, one day, we will see a “A Little Peace In Our Time”, not only in Israel, but all around the world...
